Pete Stuart – Guitar – Peter comes from a musical family and has been playing in live bands for almost 20 years. First with The Well, then Pete Stuart and Friends and now with the Soundwaves. He primarily switches between a Strat he built himself from an Ash tree that was struck by Lightning in Rowayton and a PRS P24. On occassion he will break out a 92 Custom PRS or a Languedoc. He is currently drying out some local Maple to build a few more guitars. Peter plays local builder, Andy Church Amps and Cabs, but will occasionally play a blackface Fender or a Kemper. Bobby Lawrence – Keys / Vocals Bobby has played in bands for over 30 years and brings a great depth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the Soundwaves. The band practices in his decked out Studio in Rowayton. While not tickling the ivory – Bobby is commodore of Noroton Yacht Club and will often enact the High Wind clause to drop everything and go windsurf.
James Crafford Guitar and Vocals – James voice’s summons all the local cougars to the front row. You may have seen him playing solo acoustic gigs around the area in the summer. He is a commanding front man, that plays great guitar and will likely be playing big arenas one day when the rest of us old guys are eating jello and drooling.
Interesting Fact: James’s Strats pick card was designed by a local artist
Andrew Trautman Bass and back up Vocals – Andrew is a gifted Jazz guitarist and a funky bass player. He can hear and play anything instantly and is the perfect back bone to the Soundwaves. His father is still in multiple bands and was a big influence on Andrew.
Max Squire – Bass / Vocals Max currently plays a U.S. Masters custom design 5 string bass thru thru an Ampeg 400 watt 1×18 cab (alternatively known as Chuck, as in Norris)
Interesting Fact: Max is a Master Woodworker
Lawrence (aka Los) Story- Drums Los has been bangin the pigskins for well over 20 years. He has played in a variety of bands over the years including: Magic Garden, Nick the Finn, Straight Down and Spadtastics. In addition to laying down the backbeat for the band, he has a great Stevie Wonderlike Voice.
When not Drumming: Los can be found on the Water preferably waterskiing, or chillin in Zieglers cove, he’s likely found on the paddle courts by Winter

Will Jayson Drummer – Shows are usually split between Los and Will. Will lives in the city and has all sorts of influences on his drumming from Jazz to heavy. The band lures him out from NYC to the burbs !
Trent Lewis – Guitars / Vocals Trent Lewis was a founding member of the Well back in the early 2000’s. Trent is known for his blazing guitar leads, his song writing ability and Gregg Allman-esque Vocals. In addition to writing the bulk of the material on both of The Well albums, Trent frequently performs solo acoustic shows. He has since moved to Colorado, but will sit in with the Soundwaves when he visits.
Interesting Fact – Trent is as good a Chef as he is Musician
